AvenirTrade is a right-sized flexible platform.

From electricity to equities, derivatives to commodities, browser-accessed and internet-delivered AvenirTrade provides a cost effective and easily deployed solution. It integrates seamlessly with any of Avenir’s other products or with other post-trade systems.

Accounts

Supports broker proprietary accounts, Market Maker accounts, Client Omnibus and segregated client accounts.

Risk Management

Connected to an Avenir or other compatible post-trade system, real time updates of balances of accounts can be obtained to prevent (where required) accounts short selling.

Instruments

Supports a wide range of instruments from equities and bonds, through futures and options to commodities and power contracts.

Trading sessions

Supports multiple trading session types such as pre-open, opening auction, continuous matching, pre-close and closing auction. Boards of similar instrument types can be created which are subject to different combinations of trading sessions.

Auction trading algorithms are customisable to meet local market rules.

Order types and validity

Orders can be limit or market. All common validity types such as Good Until Cancelled, Good Until Date/Time, ‘Fill and Kill’, ‘Fill or Kill’ are supported.

Trades

Trades information is available immediately, and when connected to Avenir or other suitable post-trade systems, the processing state of executed trades can be shown on the trading system.
